With summer almost over and our kids already back in school, we decided to go the lake a couple more times before it was too late. The kids had a blast riding on the tubes, learning to wake board and spending time with friends. We went with some friends to Saguaro Lake which is about 40 minutes from our house and then the next weekend we went a little further away (about 1 hour and 45 minutes) to Roosevelt Lake. It was a much better option for busy Saturdays because it is much less crowded and much larger.
Paige tried to wakeboard for the first time and got up for a second. The next weekend she got up and went for a little while before doing a faceplant and calling it a day. We'll see if she can forget the bloody lip by the time next summer rolls around to try it again.

I can't believe how brave Paige was and I can't believe she's big enough to wake board!! Crazy!
I just can't imagine the idea of Paige on a wakeboard. She just seems to tiny. But so great that she got up. I want pictures of the next time!

Hi Katie! Found you on Jamies blog... I didn't know you guys liked the lake! We are big wakeboard lovers ourselves! We went to Roosevelt 3 times this summer, too, and definately thought that the drive was well worth it! Cute pics of Paige, she is a brave girl, I couldn't talk Ashton into even trying the knee board let alone the wakeboard!!! Take care....
